Shop for Good Turns Two and We’re Featured in Shopify (Again)

Shop for Good by DailyKarma just made another trip around the sun! We’re ecstatic to have been helping mindful e-commerce brands give back to countless nonprofits these past two years – supporting causes from COVID-19 relief and Black Lives Matter to protecting our oceans across the globe.

Plus, just in time for our birthday, Shopify let us know that we’re being featured as a staff pick on the Shopify app store once again!

Our first time was during November 2019 and we were additionally featured as a Trending App in March 2020. We’re so proud to be back on the front page and stronger than ever, with over 100+ 5-star reviews and thousands of stores leveraging our advanced technology to do good while increasing their average order value and cart conversions (have you read our case studies yet?!).

We’ve got a whole lot to be grateful for in 2021. And our buoyant hearts want to celebrate by giving back even more.

So for this second birthday, we’re celebrating not only with Zoom dance parties and virtual high-fives, but also by starting a new tradition to give back in person to the causes dearest to our hearts.

As of April 2021, our team is taking one day per month to get out and volunteer. To celebrate Earth Month this year, we took to nearby parks and hiking trails to clean up in our communities.

As a female- and mother-led company, Shop for Good has undoubtedly become another child. Over the last two years, since Shop for Good was released on Shopify, the platform has grown into the most premier and well-reviewed cause marketing app on Shopify — and it’s because of you, our brand partners.  Thank you for growing with us.

Growing a business has strong parallels to raising kids. You hope you’re doing the right things, take advice from experts, trust your gut, and ultimately hope you’re making the world a better place than it was.

I remember someone saying to me in the early days of parenthood, “The days are long, but the years are short.”  This sentiment rings true to running a start up.  In our moments of reflection, we’ve decided to make sure we’re creating space – to find more balance.
